Sunday Musings

Sunday.  The beginning of a new week. It's been such a rainy, rainy day.  I'm pretty sure that it's been raining nonstop all day.  I love the rain.  It makes napping very easy.  It also puts me in deep thought mode.  Here's what I've been randomly thinking about today:

1.  Forgiveness feels so good.  It's hard work being mad at someone and holding grudges!  I've learned over the years that forgiving is the best way to go.  I choose to forgive.  Now, I won't lie, sometimes it's really, really hard, but it's possible.

2.  People find the oddest things to argue about.  Arguing could be an event in the Olympics.  Sometimes, I wonder if people just sit around and wait on their next opportunity to argue about something.

 3.  Bonnie & Clyde movie premieres tonight.  I need to be finished with my lesson plans my 8:00 so that I can tune in.  It's premiering on three networks tonight!  That must mean it's going to be pretty awesome!  Bonnie...the very first ride or die chick!  Can you say down for WHATEVER?

 4.  Isn't it funny how the tables can turn so quickly?  Just last year, the Auburn Tigers finished football season with a 3-9 record.  Just a year later, the Tigers are 12-1 and are on their way to play in the BCS National Championship game.  Life is crazy.

And finally...

5.  Is Christmas really going to be here in 17 days?  Really?  I don't even have my Christmas tree up yet.  Traditionally, I decorate my house the day after Thanksgiving.  Somehow, that hasn't happened yet.  I better get busy or Santa won't have anywhere to leave gifts!

I hope everyone has a wonderful week.  I am going to go and find my oars.  Looks like I'll be taking the canoe to work tomorrow. It hasn't stopped raining yet.
