The Balancing Act

I know that I talk a lot about my daily schedule and how many things are on my "to do" list.  Sometimes, it might sound a little like complaining, but I honestly wouldn't have my life any other way.  I love the feeling of accomplishment that I get when I look back on my Cozi app and see what tasks, meetings, and and events I've conquered for the day.  It's a great feeling to see that I have organized and planned accordingly to get everything done and to reached most of my daily goals. 

Place emphasis on the word "most" in the previous sentence.  I stress the word "most" because there are some days when I don't accomplish all of my goals.  There are some days when I miss practices, show up late for events, and leave early from meetings.  And you know what, that's okay.  I accepted a long time ago that I'm not perfect and also realize that no matter how hard I try, I will never be. 

As women, we can sometimes be so hard on ourselves when we don't live up to everyone else's expectations of us.  One thing that I should have added to my 10 Things I Know For Sure post is that people will always try to plan your schedule for you.  Well, make that two things:  people will always try to spend your money for you! (But, I'll save that rant for another post.)

The deal is, only you know what's best for you and your family.  As long as you are balancing your life in a way that's satisfying for you, then you're doing everything right.  Keep on being the fabulous, on-th-go diva that you are!  Enjoy your week..that is if you have time in your schedule!
