Miss September

I still consider myself a baby on the blogging scene (3 months old) so you can imagine my excitement when I was contacted with the news that I was chosen as Miss September for Alabama Women Bloggers!  I joined AWB a few weeks after I began blogging mainly for guidance and support.  And that is exactly what I have received!  AWB has been instrumental in helping me grow my blog. 

Joy Sowell, the editor of AWB and the woman behind The Sowell Life, has been the best big blog sister that a baby blogger could dream of!  She's so supportive, encouraging, and knowledgeable about blogging.  She's my go-to person when I have a blog question that proves too complicated for Google to explain to me in layman's terms. 


So, what does being AWB's Miss September mean?  In a nutshell, I will be the guest blogger for the AWB site each week in the month of September. 

I am so proud of myself (can I say that??) for taking on the challenge of blogging.  Blogging gives me a place to just write freely about anything that I want to!  (Well, almost anything.)  I love being able to share my feelings on my blog and I love reading my fellow bloggers' posts as well. 

So, in the midst of my crazy busy life, I'll be adding AWB Guest Blogger to the gamut. I am truly honored to have the opportunity and I hope that each of you will check me out on the Alabama Women Bloggers blog during the month of September!
