I have definitely lived up to my blog name this month: Diva on the Run! But I have thoroughly enjoyed spending time with my family. I am so blessed to have a profession that allows me to spend so much time with them. Right now, I get to run with them. Soon, I'll be running after them, longing for these days that we are living now. For that reason alone, I make it my business to make every moment with them count.
What great pictures! You have had a packed summer. My favorite is the recital picture :-)

Thanks! I just asked my daughter if she still thought this was the "worst summer ever". The first week of summer vacation, I made them promise not to ask to go anywhere so that I could get some rest. After that week was over, we've been going strong! I'll do the same thing the last week of summer. They will have to give me a week to rest to get ready to go back to school!

Yes, the start of school is right around the corner! I work in a school district now (just started last week). I've worked in districts before (and in this one too), and in the central office now, everyone is busy getting ready for the first day of school, like Christmas elves getting ready for Christmas.
